Keating Law Offices is proud to announce that it has made contributions to several local organizations to support them during the closure of much of the state and local economy. The firm made direct financial contributions to Ride Illinois, Working Bikes, West Town Bikes and Bike Lane Uprising. In addition, Keating Law Offices also maintained its sponsorship of the Active Transportation Alliance's "Bike the Drive" event and the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services' "Race Judicata" even though those events have been cancelled based on recommendations from state and local officials.
Keating Law Offices founder Mike Keating said,
"We've seen first hand the effect of these efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic on local businesses. These are challenging times for everyone and while our primary focus is on the health and safety of everyone, there have been costs. It is important for all of us to recognize that many civic and charitable organizations have also suffered major effects on their fundraising efforts that are necessary to carry out their missions. We are fortunate to be able to step up in a small way to continue to support the organizations that are important to Chicago and, in particular, Chicago's bicycling community. We look forward to working through these times together towards the better times that are ahead."
